Teens at neighboring Central Bucks School District middle schools are helping raise funds for the YMCA's 7th Grade Initiative program by participating in dodgeball tournaments held at the schools. The kids form teams that will compete against a Y Staff team with the ultimate goal of 'last team standing.' Participation fees and all proceeds are donated to the Y toward the 7th Grade Initiative program which provides a free membership and specialized programs and activities all 7th graders in the area.

Tamandend Middle School hosted their event on April 15 and raised over $250, the proceeds of participation fees. Dr. Todd Welsh of Bucks County Orthodontics was on hand to announce that he would match what the kids had raised and presented a check on the spot!

Thanks to everyone involved in raising funds towards our Youth Development programs.
