Fox Chase Cancer, The Y Partner to Observe Lung Cancer Awareness Month
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month and Central Bucks Family YMCA is partnering with Fox Chase Cancer Center to raise awareness of risk factors and new screenings available. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States.
On November 15 (8:00am to noon) the community is invited to attend an informational open house conducted by doctors and representatives from both organizations. Attendees can get information about risks and how to reduce the dangers of lung cancer and discuss a new lung cancer screen now available at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The event is free and open to the community.
