YMCA Doylestown, Warminster Recognizes Summer Camp Sponsor
Central Bucks Family YMCA is proud to announce BB&T as a sponsor of summer camp programs. BB&T recently presented a check for $8000 to support programs at both Doylestown and Warminster branches during the opening ceremonies of summer camp in Doylestown.
Sponsorship of summer camp programs directly impacts youth in the community by affording opportunities to children who might otherwise not be able to attend. Funds received are provided to families through the YMCA financial assistance program to pay for camp and other summer programs.
In addition to the sponsorship, bank staff will volunteer throughout the summer and will spend time helping at some of the weekly camp special events including Camp filed day and Camper Talent shows.
“BB&T has a strong commitment to making the communities we live and work in thrive. Providing children with a safe, friendly environment, in which to take part in numerous activities and educational field trips is something we enthusiastically endorse,” said Mike Rainone, market president at BB&T. “We are proud to be a sponsor of the Central Bucks Family YMCA summer camp program for 2017”.
Y camp programs provide traditional adventure camp, sports and specialty camps, teen camps and programs with flexible weekly, full-day, half-day and extended care schedules. A dedicated preschool camp is also provided to prekindergarten age youth. There is also an increased emphasis on teen leadership programming and mentorship with the counselor-in-training youth.
“BB&T and all of our camp sponsors recognize the importance of affordable summer programming for children in our community,” said Zane Moore, the president/CEO of Central Bucks Family YMCA. “We are so appreciative of the support of our community and corporate donors.”For more information about Y camp programs in Doylestown or Warminster, visit their website at cbfymca.org/camp.
