Do you think you can handle our New State-of-the-Art Fitness Center?? Here at the Doylestown Y our staff is WICKED excited about the re-opening of our renovated Fitness Center. The new Fitness Center is opening to Y members this Sunday, September 5th, at 8 AM. Come work off those extra Carbs from all of the Labor Day weekend celebrations.
As you may have read in an earlier blog article on the renovated Fitness Center we updated the main area of the Fitness Center to include additional state-of-the-art and innovative equipment, replaced older equipment, added custom millwork, installed modern flat screen TV’s, upgraded the cardio theater system, and put in a new information center/desk area. The biggest change for our members is the addition of all the great new equipment that will now be available at our Fitness Center. This post is going to take you through some of the new machines that you can use, as well as, explain each of their benefits.
As a teen, growing up in Berks County, I was always so envious of my friends that had these great parties at the local Y. Birthdays, graduations, band jams, celebrations for a sports team or dance class…I was always in attendance but the parties were never being held in my honor. Don’t get me wrong – my parents were great and still are, but I really would have loved if they helped me plan a party for all my closest friends (or better yet, surprised me with one) at the Y.
