Central Bucks Family YMCA is committed to providing a safe and fun camping experience for all children. A diverse menu of one and two week camping experiences has been planned for children ages 3 to 15 yrs. Great care has been taken to recruit staff with enthusiasm, personal warmth, camping skills and commitment to YMCA Character Development. Our camp activities are designed to enrich each child's physical, mental and spiritual growth through planned, organized, creative activities. Camp programs run from 9 AM to 4 PM. Early Camp begins at 7:30 AM and Late Camp runs until 6 PM. Please see camp brochure below for all of the details!

Camp Counselors

Our Camp Counselors range in ages from 16 (Junior Counselors) to Mature Adults (Senior Counselors). All counselors attend a 4 day training that includes Child Abuse Prevention, CPR, First Aid, Blood Bourne Pathogens and Emergency Situations. Senior Counselors (Age 18+) make up two-thirds of our Counselor Staff and work with the Junior Counselors closely to provide the best environment for your child. Many of our counselors work all year at our preschool and are working hard in school to become teachers.

Parking is available at the YMCA, & CB West Stadium

Day Camp/Teen Camp:
CB West Field on Memorial Drive near the tennis courts

Preschool Camp:
Drop-off and pick-up at the pavilion next to the Teen Center at Central Bucks Family YMCA.

Health & Safety

* To ensure camper’s safety, Daily sign in, sign out procedures are required.
* Emergency and first aid treatment and transportation on site.
* Aquatic staff have completed certified lifeguard training and/or instructor certification, First Aid and CPR.
* Full-time Staff and counselors hold Red Cross First Aid/CPR Certification.
* All staff trained in Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens and Risk Management.
* Certified by Bucks County Health Department.

Camp Parent Handbook

The Parent's Handbook, detailing specific policies and procedures of camp operations, is available at the Member Service Desk during camp enrollment. Information regarding payment due dates, financial assistance information, required medical forms and more are included.
