Aquatics Positions

Deck Coordinator Part Time

We are looking for a responsible and flexible individual who will ensure the quality, safety and member engagement practices in the Y Swim Lesson Program (including both group and private lessons).  Candidate must be available Mon-Fri during the evening hours 4:30 -7:30 PM (or approximately between those times), with the ability to sub for weekend morning shifts.  Must be 21 years of age. Experience in a recognized swim program preferred. CONTACT

Lifeguard Opening Shift P/T

Are you an early bird? We are seeking an individual with Lifeguard certifications and experience to work our opening shift at our pool. The opening shift is 4:45 AM - 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

Certifications required are: YUSA or ARC Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR/AED,and Oxygen Administration certifications. CONTACT

Swim Instructor & Lead Swim Instructor (part-time)

Needed for Parent/Child classes - must be 18 years old. Mon 6:00 PM, Thursday 5:15 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM - 12:15 PM. Instructors are also needed for Friday, Saturday and Sunday lessons which will continue through the summer. Must love kids and being in the water. We are willing to train. Swim Coach (part-time)

Experienced age group swim coaches are needed for our Dolphin Swim Team. Coaches will be responsible for the leadership of a practice group. Duties include teaching competitive swim skills, assisting with the organization of swim meets, practices and special events while ensuring the safety of participants. We require a USA or Y-USA swim instructor certification and an American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or the equivalent. Previous experience coaching in a recognized swim team program is required. Come join our Y team!

Shifts needed: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM; Sunday 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Rate $11 - $15 per hour depending on experience

Personal Trainer P/T

We are seeking an outgoing individual for a Personal Training position. Position includes small group training in groups of five or more as well as one-on-one individualized training. Highly motivated interested parties must hold one of the following health and fitness certifications in personal training: ACE, AFAA, NASM, NSCA, ACSM or AAAI.

Responsibilities include program planning with proper progression/ regression, scheduling, ability to teach to groups, fitness evaluations as well as session tracking. CONTACT

Adapted Personal Fitness Coach

Central Bucks Family YMCA is currently seeking personal trainers and adapted fitness instructors to work with individuals with disabilities.

Flexible part-time hours, however, Saturday mornings are required .Additional evening and weekend hours are available. Candidates must have demonstrated ability working with people with disabilities including Autism spectrum disorder.

Minimum requirements:
  • 18 years of age
  • Degree (completed or in progress) in fields including Special Education, Social Work, Adapted PE, Recreational, Occupational or Physical Therapy
  • Personal training certification, or willingness to be certified within 6 months of hire.

Youth Development

Preschool Assistant Teacher, M-F 2:30 - 6:00 PM (12- month position)

We are hiring Assistant Teachers to work with kids 2-6 years of age. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent and able to work independently with groups of children. Responsibilities include classroom management, implementing lesson plans, maintaining classroom ratios, and providing care to children. Skate Park Attendant (part-time )

Youth Sports Gymnastic Instructor

We are looking for a team-oriented individual that has experience working with children. We offer tumbling and progressive beginner gymnastics   classes for children ages 3 - 8 years old and family classes for children from 18 months to 4 years. If you have previous experience in gymnastics, dance or cheer and/or are willing to be trained, please consider this fun rewarding position. Member Engagement Representative

This position is 100% member focused, Member Engagement Representatives work a minimum of 18 hours a week and must have afternoon, evening and weekend availability. This position engages with our members when they register for membership and programs at the Welcome Center, as well as provide rotating support in the Fitness Center. A true engagement role. If you enjoy building relationships and supporting members on their Y journey this is a terrific role for you. Development Assistant

Development Assistant Position Available  - Part Time

The Development Department is seeking a candidate who has a passion for the Y, understands the Y mission and has the organizational skills to support administrative and special event functions. This position will work approximately 10 hours per week. Candidates must have excellent computer and communication skills.

Membership & Healthy Living Support

This position requires a strong sales and engagement skill set. The candidate must be highly organized and intentional in creating revenue opportunities. If you are a self-motivated sales orientated person, this is a great opportunity. The candidate will work up to 20 hours a week: Scheduling and executing fitness consultations, following through on programs like - "It Pays to belong", MyZone, Personal Training renewals and more.

Skate Park Instructor (part time)

Join our YMCA team and teach skatebording skills to young members while ensuring a fun and safe environment for all members and participants. We are looking for candidates with skate park experience and the ability to instruct, interact and communicate with and support all levels of skaters. Aquatics Coordinator

This position supports Aquatic operations in Warminster at the Log College Middle school. Preferred candidate will hold a Lifeguarding certification and have previous experience in Aquatics. Hours of operations vary; late afternoon, evening and weekends. Scheduling, teaching and supporting all areas of Aquatics - most importantly maintaining a safe environment for our participants.
