Involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures - a process producing internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a more flexible and strong body, and a calm mind.
Gentle Yoga
Beg-Adv 45/60 min Studio A/C/D
Guides you through slower, more desirable postures. Wonderful class for beginners, new or expecting moms. All levels welcome.
Family Yoga
Beg-Adv 45 min Studio A
5 yrs+ with a parent or caregiver
Make it a family affair and learn to relax while increasing strength and flexibility. Free with family membership. Potential member fees apply if child or parent is not a member. Parent MUST attend with child. Registration required.
Hatha Yoga
Beg-Adv 40 to 70 min Studio C/D
Focuses on a variety of traditional yoga poses, both standing and seated, to increase strength, flexibility and posture. Instructors may incorporate breathing exercises and mediation into the practice.
Hatha/Restorative
Beg-Adv 85 min Studio C/D
A traditional Hatha yoga class followed by 2 or 3 restorative poses. Use of blocks, blankets and bolsters to support the body to enjoy a deep relaxation.
Hatha/Yin Inspired
Beg-Adv 90 min Studio C/D
Hatha poses engage our muscles to strengthen our skeletal system. Yin uses hatha postures to lubricate and strengthen our joints and connective tissues by releasing muscular effort. Yin is a wonderful balance between our active lives and our quiet, meditative moments. The first hour of class will be traditional hatha yoga, with the last 30 minutes focused on yin yoga.
Spirit Flow
Beg-Adv 75 min Studio C/D
Meditation, chanting, breathwork, and flowing asana sequences with special attention placed on alignment, followed by extended svansana, to ease you into the evening hours.
Yoga for Athletes
Int-Adv 60 min Studio C/D
Practice mindful movement to foster body awareness and dynamic balance while improving joint stability, core strength and flexibility. Yoga for athletes will challenge, strengthen, open and heal both body and mind.
Yoga Intermediate & Advanced
Int-Adv 60/75 min Studio C/D
For Yoga students interested in the more challenging practice - form and alignment will be emphasized.
