Full Day Junior Day Campers will be bussed to the main Y facility four days a week for swimming.
CAMP PAPOOSES - 2 TO 3 YRS
Camp Papooses is located at the Kinder Y Preschool. Children will enjoy our indoor facility as well as outdoor field and playgrounds. Child has the ability to nap - need not be potty trained.

- Pee Wee Sports
- Water Play
- Imagination Play (swimming not included)
JUNIOR DAY CAMP - 4 TO 5 YRS
Camp Takoda Jr. is located at the Kinder Y Preschool. Children will enjoy our indoor facility as well as outdoor field and playgrounds. Our curriculum includes:
- Daily Arts & Crafts
- Daily Sports & Games
- Swimming 4 days a week in our Water Park Pool with recreational elements (for full day campers)
- Waterplay 4 days a week for our half day campers
- Friday Field Trips (for full day campers) including Elmwood Park Zoo, Giggleberry Fair, Mercer Museum & Recreation Station
SPECIALTY CAMPS (offered at Main Y Facility)
Gym Kidz Camp
Your preschooler burns off some energy with a combination of sports and tumbling. From dribbling a basketball to forward rolls, this camp covers it all. Perfect for the active preschooler. Must be potty trained.
Preschool Super Sports
Great for your active preschooler, teaching your child various sports through a series of skills, drills and games. It is the perfect mix between learning sports and engaging your child in fun, active games. We will instill confidence in the young campers as they focus on individual development and learn teamwork.
Princess Fantasy
This camp has everything little girls love... dance, music, dress up, a tea party, princess stories and crafting princess accessories. The most exciting event of the week is a visit on Friday from one of the Disney Princesses! Black leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes required.
