We are seeking energetic staff who are looking to serve as positive role models for our communities' youth. Must be at least 16 years of age by June 22nd, 2015.

  • LIT (Leader in Training) Specialist- we are seeking a Specialist to facilitate our "Leader in Training" Camp this summer. The Camp is a service based offering that helps teens build healthy relationships, healthy lifestyles and leadership characteristics. Each week the LITs will complete a service trip as well as focus on a specific leadership theme. We are looking for an outgoing, respectful and motivated candidates.

Part Time Positions

Fitness Coach - Morning availability  - 4:45-9:00 AM Preferred - we are looking for individuals with dynamic personalities and strong customer service skills to work in our Fitness Center as relationship builders. Fitness Coaches ensure that members receive superior service in their exercise and equipment instruction, maintain facility cleanliness, and provide a safe environment. Previous fitness experience preferred.  On-site training available. Contact

Youth Development Instructor- Track Coach - we are seeking  an individual interested in Track and Field who can coach our youth team from April to June. The team practices on Wednesday evening and Saturday morning. Contact

 Lifeguards - Needed for all shifts especially opening (early morning). Certifications required. Contact

Swim Instructors - Needed for mornings and afternoons; Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Must love kids and being in the water. We are willing to train. Contact

Lead Swim Instructors- Experienced instructors needed. Must be 17 years old with at least 1 year in a recognized swim program. Varied shifts are available. Contact

Aquatic Fitness Instructors - bring your energy to train our members. All shifts available. Contact

Swim Coach

Experienced age group swim coaches are needed for our Dolphins Swim Team. Coaches will be responsible for the leadership of a practice group. Duties include teaching competitive swim skills, assisting with the organization of swim meets, practices and special events while ensurin the safety of participants. We require a USA or Y-USA swimming certification and an American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or the equivalent. Previous experience coaching in a recognized swim team program is required. Preschool Position located at Lenape Valley Church - Contact

Preschool Afternoon Assistant Teacher - Part Time 3:00-6:00 PM Monday through Friday, year round position. Candidates must have a minimum of two years experience working with children.  College credits in education or CDA preferred.

Group Supervisor/Lead Teacher - Part Time 8:15-1:45 PM, Monday through Friday, year round.  Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom management and arrangement, adherence to ERS standards and DPW regulations. Candidates must have a minimun of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ECE with at least 18 credits in early childhood education courses. Competitive salary rate.

Hiring Now for January, 2015

Membership Representatives We are looking for candidates with exceptional people skills. Candidates must be 18 years of age, have previous experience in a customer service field and be computer literate.

Group Exercise Instructors, including Yoga, Tai Chi, strength training, cardio, Les Mills, Zumba, Pound. step, active older adult style classes. Must have experience and hold certifications.

Adult/Teen small group Personal Trainers - Personal Trainer Certification required.

Sports, Dance and Tumbling, Parent/Child Instructors - experience working wih children and basic sports knowledge a plus. Knowledge of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop dance moves and choreography required.

Lifeguards, Swim Instructors and Aquatic Deck Supervisors -all shifts available, Lifeguards must hold ARC certifications, or equivalent.

Summer Camp Counselors - bring your creativity, enthusiasm and experience working with kids to our summer program.

                                                             LOWER BUCKS FAMILY YMCA

Our Keysone STARS 4 site in Morrisville is hiring for the following Positions:

Toddler II Lead Teacher- Full Time 8:45-5:15pm, Monday through Friday. Candidates should have a minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and a woking knowledgeof Pa Early Learning Standards, Creative Curriculum, and Keystone STARS standards and/or be willing to attend paid training. Responsibilities inslude: lesson planning, classroom management and arrangement, ERS standards, DPW regulations, health and safety. Benefits inslude medical and dental insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO)and participation in the YMCA Retirement Fund.

Preschool Teacher - 9:00-3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Candidates must have a minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ECE with at least 18 credits in early childhood education courses. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom management, classroom arrangement, ERS standards, DPW regulations. Must have knowledge of PA Early Learning standards, Creative Curriculum, Work Sampling, or be willing to attnd training.

Preschool Assistant Teacher - 2:30-6:30 pm Monday through Friday. Candidates must have a minimum of a CDA and be able to work well with head teacher. Must have knowledge classroom planning, DPW, health and safety standards. Additional hours may be available.

After School Assistant - 2:30-6:30 pm Monday through Friday. Candidates must enjoy working with children from kindergarten through 6th grade. We require a minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in ECE or Elementary Education. Candidates should have working knowledge of learning standards, health and safety regulations and classroom management.
