Active Older Adult Coordinator

The Active Older Adult Coordinator is responsible for developing and supporting programs designed with special considerations for aging populations that will contribute to improved health and well-being, including improvement in functional ability and social interactions to provide a sense of community. Sports Physical Coordinator

The Sports Physical Coordinator will ensure that all youth participants are learning new skills in a fun, safe environment. S/he will establish a clean, safe, organized, welcoming environment that speaks to all parents and participants. 

·         Preferred Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
·         One to two years Sports Administration experience preferred.
·         The successful candidate will possess the ability to motivate, educate, develop, and inspire members and staff. CONTACT

Adapted Fitness Instructors

We ae currently seeking adapted fitness instructors and/or personal trainers to work with individuals with disabilities. Flexible part-time hours, however, Saturday mornings are required. Additional evening and weekend hours are available. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to work with people with disabilities including Autism spectrum disorder.

Minimum requirements:
18 years of age
Experience with facilitating social skills and adapting physical activities (sports and games)
Comfortable teaching groups of 4-8 participants in size with disabilities/special needs, as well as one on one
Degree (completed or in progress) in fields including Special Education, Social Work, Adapted PE, Recreational and or Physical Therapy
Personal training certification or willingness to be certified within 6 months of hire.

Personal Trainer P/T

We are seeking an outgoing individual for a Personal Training position. Position includes small group training in groups of five or more as well as one-on-one individualized training. Highly motivated interested parties must hold one of the following health and fitness certifications in personal training: ACE, AFAA, NASM, NSCA, ACSM or AAAI.

Responsibilities include program planning with proper progression/ regression, scheduling, ability to teach to groups, fitness evaluations as well as session tracking. CONTACT

Sports Physical Instructors

• After-school enrichment program instructors – must be available on weekdays between 3:00 and 5:00 PM and have knowledge of many different sports activities.

• Travel Basketball Coaches – must have evening and weekend availability and experience coaching basketball. Looking for coaches that are passionate about developing skills.

• Track/Cross Country Head Coach - must have evening and weekend availability and experience coaching running programs. Responsibilities include creating practice plans, parent communication and managing assistant coaches. CONTACT

Sports Physical Supervisors

·         Sunday Night Adult Basketball League – must be available on Sunday evenings (Sept-July). Responsibilities include scheduling games, communicating with league members and maintaining the quality of the players’ experience.

·         Youth Leagues – must be available on Saturdays (Sept-June). Responsibilities include field/equipment set-up & clean up, volunteer coach support and coordination of game day operations. CONTACT

Swim Lesson Deck Coordinator

Position will support the Associate Director of Aquatics in effectively running group and private swim lessons. Daily tasks include but are not limited to: parent and swimmer interaction, assisting swim instructors to provide successful lessons as well as other tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, flexible and have the ability to problem solve in high stress situations. Available shift is Tuesday-Friday evenings, 4:15-7:30PM as well as the occasional weekend and/or weekday morning for substitution requests.

We are seeking candidates ages 21 and older; must have supervisory experience and a minimum of 1-2 years aquatics instruction. Contact

Lead Preschool Teacher - Part-time

Lead Preschool Teachers needed , Monday through Friday. 12 month positions
Candidates must have a minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ECE with at least 18 credits in early childhood education courses. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom management, classroom arrangement, ERS standards, DPW regulations.

Preschool Assistant Teacher, Morning and Afternoon shifts M-F (12- month position)

We are hiring Assistant Teachers to work with kids 2-6 years of age. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and be able to work independently with groups of children. Responsibilities include classroom management, maintaining classroom ratios, providing care to children, ERS Standards, DPW regulations, health and safety. Skate Park Attendant (part-time )

Join our YMCA team and actively monitor the activity in the Skate Park while ensuring a fun and safe environment for all members and participants. We are looking for candidates with skate park experience and the ability to interact, communicate with and support all levels of skaters. CONTACT

Swim Coach (part-time)

Experienced age group swim coaches are needed for our Dolphin Swim Team. Coaches will be responsible for the leadership of a practice group. Duties include teaching competitive swim skills, assisting with the organization of swim meets, practices and special events while ensuring the safety of participants. We require a USA or Y-USA swim instructor certification and an American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or the equivalent.
