WAYS TO VOLUNTEER

Program Volunteers
Provide leadership and support to group activities and programs by coaching Youth Sports, aiding in our Welcome Center or Child Watch, supporting Healthy Living programs, helping out at one of our camps, or assisting with one of our Youth Development programs.

Philanthropy Volunteers
Help to raise funds to ensure that our Y programs are open to everyone regardless of economic circumstances, while gaining valuable leadership and community building experience. Volunteer opportunities are available for the Community Support Campaign.

Special Events Volunteers
Help to plan, promote and run events that strengthen our community. Events such as fun runs, family nights, Healthy Kid’s Day, and teen nights are just some of the ways for you to help the Y strengthen the foundations of community.

Policy Volunteers
Provide leadership to the YMCA through membership on a Board of Directors, and the associated Committees.

Please note that for the safety of our children and families, we reserve the right to run criminal background checks and child abuse clearances on any potential volunteers. All volunteers must participate in an orientation given by the Volunteer Coordinator before they begin their service.
