A Capital Campaign for Central Bucks Family YMCA

Central Bucks Family YMCA is working hard to meet the needs of an expanding population and create innovative programs and facilities that bring today's families together in recreation, sports, and wellness. Click here to view the Capital Campaign brochure.

Phase 1 of our expansion project includes:
· New Inez Lenfest Aquatic Center
· New locker rooms, including special needs and family changing rooms and showers
· Expansion of the Wellness Center with two new studios and a spinning studio
· New community meeting rooms, cafe, and multi-purpose space

The 2008 'Kids to Camp' campaign to raise $23,000 is designed to help low-income families in our community send their child to camp this summer. The need is greater than ever, and we expect to help more than 200 kids. The campaign is designed to help these families make a difference for a child between a lonely, isolated summer and a summer filled with fun and wholesome activities that build character and promote positive values. Thank you for making our Financial Assistance program possible - so that no one who qualifies is ever turned away from YMCA programs and services because of the inability to pay.

In 2008, we gave away over $500,000 in Financial Assistance. Nearly 60% of it was for Youth and Teens to enjoy educational opportunities and summer camp. Of the 522 families and 879 individuals served, more than 70% had income level UNDER $20,000 per year!

The YMCA depends on contributed support to maintain its mission-driven programs. On behalf of all the youth and families we served this past year, thank you for your generous support.

Endowments can be made by either an outright gift of cash or other property, or through the use of planned giving techniques. Planned giving involves including the Central Bucks Family YMCA in your overall financial and estate plan. Anyone making a planned gift to Central Bucks Family YMCA becomes a member of our Heritage Club. Members will receive an invitation to the Heritage Club Dinners, recognition in the YMCA Annual Report and the Heritage Club programs, membership memento, and courtesy mailings of YMCA publications.
