The Y building and property are non-smoking. For your convenience, a limited number of vending machines are available for refreshments. Refreshments are limited to the lobby and vending area.
Proper attire should be worn in the lobby, including shirts and shoes.
Lost and Found is located at the Welcome Center. Anything not claimed after one week will be taken to the Donation Box at the far end of the property.
AGE POLICY
Parents must be in attendance with all children under the age of 12 when using the Y facility. This policy is for the safety of the children and our members.
Fitness Center - Youth of Full Privilege families, ages 10 and older, may now enjoy use of the Fitness Center, following successful completion of the Youth Strength and Fitness class AND accompaniment by the parent or guardian. Ages 12 and Older (12 - 14 year olds must successfully graduate from Teen Strength and Fitness before using the Fitness Center).
Pool - (Rec swim) Ages 12 and older
Gymnasium - (Open Gym) Ages 12 and older with exceptions.
Skate Park - Ages 8 and older are allowed with Parent/Legal Guardian signed waiver.
Sauna - Must be 18 years old.
MEMBERSHIP OR PROGRAM CARDS
You will receive an ID card at the time of registration or within a few days. Membership cards are not transferable, and therefore the card may not be used by anyone except you. MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR MEMBERSHIP CARDS to gain access through our computerized "check In" system. A $5.00 lost card fee will be charged after the third visit. Non-members must show their program card at the "check-in" desk.
CREDIT AND REFUND POLICY
A Credit-Refund form must be filled out in order to receive a credit or refund. Allow two weeks for processing.
Credit-Refunds will be given only for the following reasons:
1. Extended or Prolonged Illness; a signed doctor's excuse must be presented for the credit or refund to be issued. Credit - Refunds will be pro-rated for classes attended.
2.Credits-Refunds will be given if the Central Bucks Family YMCA cancels the session due to lack of enrollment. (Director will process this form)
3.No Credit or Refund will be given for failure to attend the class during the session.
4.Refunds will require a $10.00 processing fee, deducted from the refund along with any attended classes.
5.In rare cases of acts of God, ie:lightening or inclement weather conditions, no Credit or Refund will be given.
FREEZE POLICY
You may freeze your membership by month once during your membership year for up to three consecutive months. If you're away for a longer period of time, that time will be counted as active time and will not be added on to the expiration date. Your card must also be turned in as it is still shown in the system as active. Complete Freeze Policy.
AWAY is a national program, which stands for "Always welcome at YMCAS".
As the name indicates, it is a member service program which allows Full Privilege members to visit and use other use other YMCA's. By participating in this program, the Central Bucks Family YMCA agrees to accept other YMCA's full privilege members into our facility. These visiting members will have full access to our facility, just as if they were one of our own CBF YMCA members.
1. The visiting member must show a current YMCA membership card with an AWAY sticker attached to it.
2. The visiting member will receive the same privileges as our full privilege members.
3. The visiting member who is within a 50-mile radius of Central Bucks $6.00 for his first six visits, within a calendar year, then the full guest fee will apply.
4. No guest fee will be charged for visiting members outside a 50 mile radius to Central Bucks for the first six visits, additional visits will be charged half the fegular guest fee.
GUESTS
Members may bring guests to the YMCA and pay the appropriate guest fee. Each guest may visit the YMCA an unlimited amount of times. Members may bring a maximum of 3 people per visit and must be present when their guests are in the facility. In the case of members who have relatives or friends visiting for an extended period, contact the Member Services staff. A special 6 visit guest pass is available, $60, limited to 2 per year. All guests 12 and older must show a picture ID to gain access to the facility.
Guests pay for a full day, full use of the facility (guests under 15 years may use the Pool and Gymnasium only.)
