MINI-SWIM SESSION - May 14 to June 10

PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
Want to improve your child’s swim level and technique? We can help! A Private or Semi-Private Lesson is a great way to gain confidence, build endurance and learn technique. Perfect opportunity for adults, teens & children.Private and Semi-Private Swim lessons are available anytime and do not have to coincide with swim session! PARENT CHILD SWIM LESSONS
6 months to 4 yrs - Water Park Pool
Children learn aquatic readiness skills in a fun environment with songs and games. Swim diapers required. (With one parent or caregiver per child; parent bringing child to class or child must be a member to receive member rate.)

Shrimps, Kippers & Inias - 6 to 18 mths

Perch - 19 to 36 months, children will practice aquatic readiness skills with float belts using songs and games with the goal of becoming independent swimmers.         

Perch Plus - 2 to 4 yrs, for advancing swimmers. Children who swim independently will work on Pike and Eel skills in preparation for transitioning to the preschool swim program.

PRESCHOOL SWIM LESSONS
3 to 5 yrs - Water Park Pool
Child should be comfortable going into water without parent. 

Pike - 3 to 5 yrs
Beginner skills - 3 cubes
Prerequisite - Willing to separate from parent. Will learn: to swim independently, back float, jump in pool.

Eel - 3 to 5 yrs
Advanced beginner skills - 2 cubes
Prerequisite: 2 cubes, swim 15 yards, back float, jump in unassisted, sit dive. Will learn: sculling on back, submersion, endurance, swim with face in water.

Ray - 3 to 5 yrs
Intermediate skills - 1 cube
Prerequisite - 1 cube, swim 15 yards on front and back, submersion. Will learn: kneeling dive, elementary backstroke, intro to rotary breathing, intro to breastroke.Mom Child Swim

Starfish - 3 to 5 yrs
Advanced skills - No float belt
Prerequisite: Swim half lengths on front and back, some knowledge of elementary backstroke and rotary breathing. Will learn back crawl, intro to breastroke, refine elementary backstroke, refine rotary breathing.

PROGRESSIVE SWIM LESSONS
6 to 15 yrs – Traditional Pool
Youth Progressive Swimming programs give special attention to each child’s individual needs at the appropriate skill level.

Polliwog - 6 to 15 yrs
Introduction to basic swimming and safety skills. Will learn: front crawl, back crawl, submersion, tread water, confidence in deep end.

Guppy - 6 to 15 yrs
Prerequisite - Confidence in deep end, one half length of front crawl and back crawl, tread water. Will learn: front crawl with rotary breathing, elementary backstroke, intro to breaststroke, diving.

Minnow - 6 to 15 yrs
Prerequisite - swim one length of front crawl with rotary breathing, back crawl and elementary backstroke. Will learn: breastroke, sidestroke, open turns, refine rotary breathing.

Fish - 6 to 15 yrs
Prerequisite - swim 2 lengths of front crawl with rotary breathing, back crawl, elementary backstroke and breastroke. Will learn: butterfly, stride dive, intro to flip turns.

Flying Fish - 6 to 15 yrs
Prerequisite - swim 4 lengths of front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke and breaststroke. Will learn: flip turns, refine butterfly, safety skills.

Shark - 6 to 15 yrs
Review and refine all strokes. Introduction to competitive starts, turns.

Porpoise - 6 to 15 yrs
Introduction to Lifeguarding skills. Refine competitive strokes, starts and turns.
