Over 75 years of developing the father-child relationship the YMCA's Princesses and Blossoms programs are the perfect opportunity to strengthen father-son and father-daughter relationships through activities that are challenging and fun! Fathers and children regularly c
onvene in meetings and planned events and outings. Activities include stimulating creative projects and activities to enhance relationships while teaching the core principles of Character Development - Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility. The program emphasizes the qualities of dignity, patience, selflessness, endurance spirituality, harmony with nature, and concern for the family and community. The Guide and Princess programs try to emulate these qualities and give the father a basis for a common interest and learning experience in working with and relating to his child. A code of conduct must be signed.
