Introduction to Ballet/Tap

Foundation of ballet and tap. Introduction to basic ballet and tap steps and movements.

Ballet Level I

(Pre-requisite Introduction to Ballet)
Emphasizes the development of ballet skills with a focus on body placement, alignment, strength and technique. Progressive class builds on what was learned in Introduction to Ballet.

Kids Bop
4 to 6 yrs     30 min     Studio C
Hip Hop class that allows all children to experience dance and express themselves in a nonverbal way. Children will enjoy the fun energetic dance moves.

Hip Hop
7 to 12 yrs    45 min     Studio C
Explores the popular and exciting dance genre with roots based in street and pedestrian styles. Dancers study movements associated with jazz, funk, and pop music.

IRISH DANCE

Introduction to Irish dance designed to discover the child’s ability, interest. Children will perform in our holiday show Nutcracker in December.

Irish Dance Level I
5 yrs+         45 min     Studio D
To nurture the abilities of each student’s progress in Irish dance. Challenges each student’s ability. New techniques and steps will be learned. Children will perform in our holiday show Nutcracker in December.

NEW! Pump It Up Dance Party
5 yrs+    30 min    Gym B
Learn new moves or practice ones you know. Have fun dancing to the music of the 70's, 80's and more. Dance contest at the end of the session.

NEW! Tap
5 yrs+    45 min    Studios C/D
Participants learn and develop skills and techniques in tap.
