Central Bucks Family YMCA offers non-competitive programs and sports leagues for youth. We strive to teach basic skills as well as the concepts of teamwork, cooperation and sportsmanship. We seek to build healthy spirit, mind and body by exemplifying character principles of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in our programs and leagues. We stress participation and fun so that all participants can have a positive experience.

PARENT/CHILD CLASSES

Baby Y'ers

Positive interaction between child and caregiver. Includes developmentally appropriate and fun experiences as well as time for socializing and sharing.

Dad & Child Super Sports

Dad and child play a host of sports together - soccer, basketball, football, T-ball and other games.

Gym Kidz

Allows your child to burn off some energy with a combination of sports and tumbling. Dual class covers dribbling a basketball to forward rolls. Perfect for the active child and parent.

Live Y'ers
18 mths to 3 yrs     40 min     Gym A, B
Safe, well-equipped gym. Concentrates on balance, coordination, basic locomotor skills and social interaction. Parent bringing child or child must be a member to receive Member rate.

Parent-Tot Super Sports
2 to 4 yrs     40 min     Gym B
Opportunity for you and your child to bond and have fun together while learning a variety of sports. Improves skills such as catching, throwing, batting, shooting, passing and hand-eye coordination. Equipment provided.

Private Basketball Lessons

Basketball Skills

Quick Feet Soccer Training

More intensive training with Maggie Baker, former CB West and Rutgers University player. Focus on foot skills for the advancing player. Work on individual foot skills, learn ball mastery drills and skills that help with foot speed. Learn different move each week and build confidence with small sided games in tight spaces. Perfect for the soccer player looking to take their game to the next level.

Athletes prepare for the upcoming summer games by learning a variety of events and games. Kids participate in track relays, basketball, volleyball, soccer, gymnastics, handball, hockey, tennis and complete different strength challenges.

Lacrosse Club
7 to 12 yrs
Learn the fastest game on two feet! Learn stick skills, defensive positioning, shooting and ground ball techniques. Great for beginners. A lacrosse stick is required.

The active pre-schooler learns about different games like soccer, football, tee ball and basketball in a fun learning environment. Active games are also taught.

Calling all Super Heroes to GET MOVING! Join Marathon Man for this motivating and energizing class to improve cardio and endurance. Organized play, races, Jedi training. Each Super Hero will make their own masks, and show their super powers to gain strength & confidence.

What makes a Princess strong and fit? Learn PRINCESS POWER! Explore a different Disney princess and her power: Swim like Ariel, Karate-kick like Mulan, Dance like Cinderella.
