Preschool

Central Bucks Family YMCA Preschool offers programs for children 2 yrs to Kindergarten. The Preschool builds on a child's natural desire to learn new things and become more self-reliant. Getting along with other children, sharing, taking turns and working in a group are a natural part of playing games or learning a new craft. The Y is an exciting and challenging place, helping preschoolers stretch their skills in mind and body. It is also a safe, comfortable place where children build positive relationships with caring adults.

On June 1, 2013, students enrolled at the preschool receive a youth membership to the Y.

The membership will allow students to participate in programs at the Y including sports, fitness and arts classes,  swim lessons, and special needs programs offered to members at no or reduced cost. “As students of the preschool, these kids are already a part of the larger Y family. By making this change, we're making it official,” says Julie Townsend, director of youth education at the Y.

Students whose families already have a family membership at the Y will receive a $19 credit each month. The membership begins when the child attends the preschool.
