Y Receives Annual Campaign Donation from HPP
A recent gift of $25,000 made by Health Partners Plans to Central Bucks Family YMCA and Lower Bucks Family YMCA, will make it possible for the Y to continue funding community impact programs including THRIVE cancer wellness, Veterans wellness, Living Active for active older adults, Empower U for teen girls, 7th grade initiative, 2nd grade swim programs and Diabetes Prevention.
The formal check presentation was made on April 4 at the Y’s annual campaign breakfast, “Let’s Do Breakfast”,” to help celebrate the kick-off of the yearly campaign that helps raise funds to support YMCA programs that benefit children, youth and families.
“We are grateful for every donation we receive,” said Zane Moore, President/CEO of Central Bucks Family YMCA and managing President/CEO of Lower Bucks Family YMCA. “The Health Partners Plan gift is exciting as it will make a meaningful impact on our donor supported programs such as THRIVE cancer wellness and 7th Grade Initiative that benefit individuals living throughout Bucks County.”
